Pump gas, street tires, quiet, unassuming... But I guess it should be quiet and un-assuming since it hasn't run quicker than a 12.40, but I console myself with the relatively good speed (115 mph) for the relatively high weight and the fact that things that make better drag cars make less pleasant street cars.

10:5 to 1 comp. ratio, 2.08 intake, 1.60 exhaust, AFR 205cc CNC ported heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, 750 'Mighty Demon' carb, Comp Cams XR 280 street roller cam Jesel Sportsman shaft rocker arms, Scat 3.850 stroke cast crank. SRP dished pistons on Scat H-beam rods, MSD distributor w/Digital 6 box, custom 1.750" headers, 2.5" exhaust w/ 'expansion chambers' and Flowtech 'Terminator' mufflers, ATI balancer, Centerforce III clutch and flywheel, Tremec TKO 5 spd manual transmission, 9" Ford w/3.70 gears on Bear spool and axles.

Car runs pump gas only, runs cool, is fairly quiet (although has a weird-sounding, tinny exhaust note) and all the creature comforts you would expect in a street driven car. Except air conditioning. And power steering. And power brakes. And sound deadening. No stereo, no, not even a radio. No back seat, roll bar instead. No console, fire extinguisher instead. I guess it doesn't have that many comforts after all.

"With approx 1200 horsepower it's the best ride I've ever had and wouldn't trade it for an ride. Through the years we have always been a top competitor in our class thanks to C.A.R.S. Eldoren Racing's 66 Acadian Canso

"I can't say enough how happy I am with my C.A.R.S. built 406 engine. After 3 full seasons, she's still purring. And generating 10:50's at close to 132 mph. Not bad for a street car!"
